The Hot Rodding for Heroes Classic Auto Tour and Show mission is to turn
our passion for cars into local support for our nation's veterans. It has
been designed with the principals of featuring our favorite parts of
owning a classic car; driving it and sharing it with the public while
benefitting a tremendous charity, the Veteran's Bridge Scholarship.
Available to Santa Fe College and the University of Florida students,
this provides returning veterans funds to bridge the time between their
discharge and when their veteran's benefits arrive.
The Hot Rodding for Heroes Classic Auto Tour and Show will assemble
at the Santa Fe College parking lot at 9:00am. This portion is open to
tour registrants only please. We will leave there at 10:00am on our
police escorted 30 mile tour of Alachua County, ending in the Haile
Plantation Village Center. Arrival time will be around 11:00am. Along
the route we'll see area landmarks, buildings, and monuments, as well
as area residents out in force.
The Hot Rodding for Heroes Classic Auto Tour and Show is proudly
hosted by two of the most picturesque and charming settings that North
Florida has to offer: the Haile Plantation Village Center and the Haile
Plantation Golf and Country Club. The show portion will start with the
tour's arrival at 11:00am, which is open free to the public. Cars will
be distributed throughout the Village Center and Golf Course, along with
area vendors, food, live music, and a host of other amenities.
Event Parking
Event pedestrian parking will be located along 91st Blvd only. Due
to potential risks pets, bicycles, motorcycles and skateboards will not
be permitted to enter the event.
